Today is Christmas Eve and I wanted to take a quick moment to say hello and Happy Holidays to all of you!

This is a great time of year to spend with close family and friends. I hope that those planning for 2013 weddings are using this holiday season to take a break and enjoy their loved ones for a few special days.

I will be spending time with my little family and couldn’t be happier. I am a lucky person to have as many loving people in my life as I do and I am thankful for them everyday.

So have fun this holiday season. Enjoy the wonderful food, drink and gift giving. But mostly love each other. That is the gift everyone will remember the most.

Best Wishes!

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time.

Carol’s Big Day!

Back in early November I got to spend the day with a very sweet bride before she walked down the aisle on her wedding day. Carol and I had been talking about her hair and makeup since the middle of May and now the day had finally come.

Normally when I meet with brides for a trial run of their hair they sometimes have a picture or two of a style that they like. When we got together back on July she had the exact style picked out and a photo of every possible angle that you could imagine of this hair style. She was a very thorough bride-to-be!

So on the morning of her big day, Carol and I got to work on curling her long thick hair. Most of the hair would remain falling down her back but the rest would be pulled up from the side and front, leaving only her bangs to accent her face.

She also chose to wear a sparkling barrette in her hair to finish the style.

Carol was a great bride to work with, very sweet and knew exactly what she wanted. I’m very lucky to have gotten to be a part of her special day. Thanks again for choosing me to be there with you!
