This week I also got to meet with Bride-To-Be Michelle. She and I have been discussing her wedding day since the second of January. It was fun to learn that she and I are both from St. Louis!

We discussed styling a low curly bun with romantic texture throughout the top and sides. She has a beautiful flower with lace detail to pin in at the side for an accent.

I am pumped to see Michelle again in just four short weeks!

In the beginning on April I was contacted by Alexis as she was searching for a stylist for her September wedding. I was pretty excited to meet with her early this week to try out the style that she had in mind.

Alexis had shared with me some photos of her beautiful wedding dress and told me a few of the ideas that she had for her hair. When we finally met we discussed wearing her hair pulled low on the right side with a curly bun to hold the large flower and cage veil.

For her makeup she wanted a dramatic look but wanted to keep with neutral tones.

I am very happy to be the stylist for Alexis’ big day and I look forward to seeing her again in a few weeks!

Lindsey: Trial

Over the weekend Bride-To-Be Lindsey traveled from up state NY and met with me in Butler, PA for a trial run of her wedding day hair. I was excited to meet to practice a few styles for the upcoming October ceremony.

Before beginning to style her very long hair, she showed me a couple of photos. One was a soft, side ponytail and the other was a very textured, low set updo. I got started by curling all of her hair with a large curling iron.

We then tried the side ponytail first.

The updo that we tried next was low and had a lot of twists and loops flowing back into very textured knots and curls. She plans on finding the perfect floral fascinator to tuck into the style to complete the look. For now, we borrowed a flower from an arrangement on her grandma’s dining table!

Lindsey is a really fun girl and I love the way that both styles turned out. I am looking forward to seeing her again on her wedding day!
