A Tale of a Veil

I always find it interesting to see what a bride chooses to do with her hair and her makeup for her wedding day. Some gals love to go for extreme glamor and others prefer to stay on the natural side. A lot of this has to do with their personality or even the venue and time of day that the event takes place. A part of the day’s fashion that may have more to do with tradition is the veil.

For many brides, not wearing a veil, is not an option. Whether it be a family tradition or a religious choice it is a must. The beauty of a tradition lasting as long as the veil is the way that it adapts and changes with the time. For some a veil needs to be long to be traditional.

Others see a veil as a way to show that while they want to take part in the tradition, they also want to put their spin on it. Like using a shorter version.

Another twist that has become quite popular is a fascinator.

To veil or not to veil? Whatever the choice there are so many options in veil style and they can be combined with any hair style you can imagine. Have fun with it, other than your wedding, there aren’t too many times when wearing a veil is even an option.
